Consultative Support

WisconsinRx/National CooperativeRx adds value to the pharmacy benefit. As a member-owned not-for-profit pharmacy benefit purchasing coalition, we offer our groups a different and unique perspective than they would get from a PBM alone. We help our members take advantage of the full spectrum of consultative services available by their cooperative to achieve remarkable results. Our services are designed to enhance the experience and compliment offerings available through our PBM Partner. We make it easier for members to take advantage of clinically sound, cost-effective saving opportunities available to them.

An important part of our consultative support team is our in-house pharmacist, Wayne Salverda, R.Ph., who joined the WisconsinRx/National CooperativeRx team in 2010 as our Senior Director of Clinical Services. Wayne works closely with your coalition account team, our PBM partner’s account team as well as individual member groups to identify opportunities to make the most out of their pharmaceutical investments. This may include the assistance and development of value-based plan designs, wellness promotion strategies, adherence efforts, generic drug promotion opportunities as well as other initiatives. Through collective collaboration our team works to evaluate, recommend and help design programs to help members meet their individual and unique goals.

Analytics and reporting is an important element of our consultative support function. We track and report critical drug trend, compliance and benchmarking data to quickly identify problems savings opportunities or formulate recommendations based on our members’ specific goals and objectives. We work with our PBM partner to validate its data and analytics. We leave no stone unturned when it comes to helping our members make informed, sound and better decisions with available data.

What They're Saying

"Our organization has two complimentary objectives.  Continue to grow our membership, and continue to grow the value we bring to our members.  Both of those will help the other."
